YXS Magneto for Yamaha XS650 – Brushed Finish

Description

Model YXS, high performance magneto for the Yamaha XS650 by Morris Magneto. The YXS magneto bolts up to left side cam-end cup; no modifications needed. No battery or 12 volt system are needed for ignition, no wiring required aside for spark plug leads and a kill switch. This lets your stock charging system power only your lights, keeping the two systems totally separate. The magneto does not interfere with the spark plug, and it can be removed as usual with the magneto installed. The drive fits under the right side cam-end cover. Made in the USA. CNC machined from 6061-billet aluminum, Morris Magnetos create high voltage from strong rare-earth magnets; the faster they turn the hotter the spark. Ideal for custom builds, magneto ignitions save weight, wiring, a string of components, & breakdowns. Comes standard with a black magneto cap. No returns are accepted on magnetos as they are made-to-order.
