UPDATE: WE DID IT! First run at Bonneville World of Speed was 156.22 mph, with a backup run of 153.53 (running a bit lean). The 2-way average set the new A-VG 1350cc record at 154.88 mph, up from 151.175 mph set in 2016 by a dual-engine Indian Scout. Grab yourself one of these record-setting support shirts before they are gone! We are already planning for the 2025 race season, and breaking more land speed records!
We are racing at World of Speed at the Bonneville Salt Flats, September 6-9, 2024. We are going to call our shot: Tyler will smash the existing 151 mph record on the first run of the first day.
That may be a bold statement, but we believe it to be true. We also go full-out. Grab yourself a support tee and be a small part of this out-there endeavor. You will help pay for a tiny bit of race gas, or after-racing tacos for our crew, the things that help fuel our days out there on the Salt.
We put a somewhat ridiculous amount of time and energy into building and campaigning vintage land speed motorcycles. We have raced at Bonneville since 2010, and have set and broken many records over the years. Tyler’s 1950 dual-engine Triumph is the focus currently, which debuted at Bonneville Speed Week in 2021. Unfortunately, due to a mechanical issue Tyler crashed at 153 mph, running against the current record of 151 mph in the 1350cc A-VG class (special construction, vintage gas).
He walked away generally unscathed (miraculously), and the bike was rebuilt. Now, having raced at multiple ECTA events in Arkansas, and a bunch of tuning time at the dyno, we are dialed in and better prepared than ever before.
Printed on 5.6 oz. Gildan #5300100% cotton Pocket Tee . Quarter-turned to eliminate the center crease,7/8″ double-needle topstitched collar, and taped neck and shoulders.
